Wood Badge is a contemporary leadership training course that uses a mix of classroom style learning with scouting-oriented games, hands on projects and fun activities that reinforce the learning sessions. The participant will come away with a vison of the impact you can make on the youth in your unit, district or council, as well as the tools needed to be successful in providing leadership in scouting as well as other areas of your life . The Course is designed to advance the leadership skills of all Scouters within Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, District and Council.

ORIENTATION (SUGGESTED):
THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2019 – 7pm

COURSE DATES:
May 20, 2019 to May 24, 2019

(5 full days – 7:30 am Monday – 4:15 pm Friday)

LOCATION:

Camp Fretterd Military Reservation

Rue Saint Lo Drive, Reisterstown, Maryland Camp Fretterd has indoor eating and sleeping accommodations and indoor training rooms.

INCLUSIVE:

Dates and meals are designed to meet the obligations of a variety of religious observances, including strictly Kosher food and time for religious obligations to be met.

UNIFORM

Participants will need a complete field uniform for the scouting position they hold. This includes, shirts, pants, socks and belt.

PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registered with BSA
  • Completed Basic Training for your registered Scouting position.
  • Current BSA medical (parts A, B and C)

Regular price is $295 (Feb 1 and later)

Price includes all fees, meals, and training materials. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.
